Imec presented a world’s first at SPIE Photonics West 2023: a camera system that combines VIS/NIR spectral imaging with high-res RGB imaging – with data acquisition at video rate.

This innovation is specifically targeted towards companies and research groups who are engaged in developing hyperspectral imaging applications. They benefit from a single device that allows them to flexibly assess the pros and cons of different spectral resolutions and ranges.

The camera is a perfect starting point for use cases that involve dynamic, unpredictable scenes such as surgical imaging, machine vision and precision agriculture.
