Ruoyu Li
Ruoyu Li is a senior researcher at imec, specializing in quantum computing with semiconductor spin qubits. His primary area of focus involves investigating the fundamental limitations of qubit coherence and strategies to enhance coherence, fidelity, and scalability using industrial fabrication techniques. Prior to his current position, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at TU Delft, where he contributed to the Intel-QuTech collaboration. He developed a crossbar qubit array architecture to address wiring challenges and ensure compatibility with CMOS fabrication processes. Ruoyu received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of New South Wales in 2016, where he did pioneering research on holes and their spin-orbit interactions in pMOS quantum dots.
