Laurence Lutsen

Laurence Lutsen received a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Montpellier II (France) in 1994. After a first post-doc position at the University of Kent at Canterbury (England) in 1995, she started working on the synthesis of conjugated polymers at the UHasselt (formerly known as LUC) in Hasselt (Belgium) in 1997. She is currently a Strategic Research Manager and Project Manager at IMO-IMOMEC associated laboratory of imec in Hasselt, Belgium. Her research focuses on the design and synthesis of novel semiconductors to be used as active materials in organic and hybrid electronic devices such as light-emitting diodes, transistors, solar cells, chemo- and biosensors.
