Asser Elsayed
Asser Elsayed is a final year Ph.D. candidate at the KU Leuven/imec, working on characterizing SiMOS gate stack devices for spin qubit applications. Asser holds an Erasmus Mundus MSc degree in nanoscience and nanotechnology, which he obtained from the KU Leuven and TU Dresden in 2018. He defended a thesis in fulfillment of his MSc working on antiferromagnetic MERAM technology at the Helmholtz Institute in Dresden. He completed his BSc in electronics and communication engineering specializing in digital design using hardware definition languages from AUC, Egypt, in 2014. Prior to pursuing his MSc and Ph.D., Asser worked as an embedded software engineer at Valeo from 2014 to 2016, where he worked on the development of automotive embedded systems.
