Ann Vankerckhoven

Ann Vankerckhoven obtained her PhD in biomedical sciences at KU Leuven in 2022. She focused on the role of immunosuppressive cells in ovarian cancer and how to therapeutically target them. During these studies, she collaborated with imec to provide a proof of concept for microfluidics chip based immune monitoring. Today, she continues her research in cancer immunology at Sotio Biotech, specializing in the immunobiology of ovarian and lung cancer.
