An Coosemans focuses on cancer therapy development in hard-to-treat cancers. Glioblastoma and ovarian cancer, where screening and prevention do not work and mortality is still high, are the lab's spearheads. Based on advancing insights in the immune biology of these cancers, the team develops more tailored immunotherapy for the appropriate patient subgroups.
